Overview:
Let’s explore the incredible machine that is the human body! This fun, interactive class will take students on a tour from head to toe, learning how organs, bones, muscles, and systems work together to keep us moving, breathing, and growing. Each week includes hands-on activities, experiments, and simple anatomy models to bring the lessons to life.
In this class, kids will:
-create a straws and balloon lung model
-simulate a germ transfer with glitter
-draft a personal habit tracker
-trace the human body

Class Expectations
*Families involved in this class will be asked to sign a code of conduct agreement so that they know there is an expectation to act responsibly during instruction at PPS.
Timeline
This class begins Sept. 1, 2025, and runs until Dec. 12, 2025. This class runs every Tuesday from 930am-1020am with a class break (no school) the week of Thanksgiving for a total of 14 classes.
Price breakdown
One 50 Min. Class = $10 per student
(multiply x 14 weeks of instruction)
= $140 total for this class per 1 student for the 14-week semester
