Overview:
Does your child love looking up at the night sky and asking big questions about planets, stars, and galaxies? Space Science: The Wonders of the Universe is a hands-on, engaging homeschool science class designed to spark curiosity and deepen understanding of our universe. Using The Good and the Beautiful curriculum, students will explore the solar system, learn about stars and constellations, discover how gravity and orbits work, and uncover the story of space exploration — all through fun activities, discussions, and age-appropriate lessons.
By the end of the course, your child will not only know key space science concepts but will also feel inspired by the beauty and mystery of the universe.
In this class, kids will:
Explore planets, moons, and stars
Understand gravity, orbits, and the phases of the moon
Learn how scientists study space
Take part in hands-on activities and engaging class discussions
Give your child the chance to look up, wonder, and learn with a curriculum that makes space science exciting and accessible!

*Families involved in this class will be asked to sign a code of conduct agreement so that they know there is an expectation to act responsibly during instruction at PPS.
Timeline
This class begins January 13th, 2026 and runs until April 28, 2026 . This class runs every Tuesday from 930am-1020am with a class break (no school) the week of March 23rd for a total of 14 classes.
