Overview:
Pack your (imaginary) bags and get ready to explore the world! In this hands-on geography class, students will journey across continents, dive into different cultures, and discover the people, animals, landmarks, and foods that make each region unique. We’ll use stories, games, crafts, and maps to make learning fun and memorable. By the end of the semester, your child will know their way around the globe!
In this class, kids will:
-sculpt landforms
-taste test various cuisines
-treasure hunt
-create a world puzzle map

*Families involved in this class will be asked to sign a code of conduct agreement so that they know there is an expectation to act responsibly during instruction at PPS.
Timeline
This class begins Sept. 1, 2025, and runs until Dec. 12, 2025. This class runs every Tuesday from 1030am-1120am with a class break (no school) the week of Thanksgiving for a total of 14 classes.
Price breakdown
One 50 Min. Class = $10 per student
(multiply x 14 weeks of instruction)
= $140 total for this class per 1 student for the 14-week semester
